Do you love yourself unconditionally? Or does your love for yourself, and the acceptance of yourself come with conditions? Do you believe (perhaps unconsciously) that you will start feeling happy with yourself and better accept yourself when you’ve achieved x,y, z, have a certain amount of money in the bank, your home looking perfect, you’ve lost so many pounds/kilos, or altered something else with your body, when you’ve met the “right” kind of partner, and on and on?
What are affirmations and why are they so powerful?
Affirmations are amazing tools that can counteract the negative messages that we all carry within us, such as believing that our bodies are unreliable, that our intuitive knowing is less valid than science and technology, that we aren’t worthy of happiness and success etc.
Let’s talk about co-sleeping and babies’ biological needs
Most babies sleep best lying next to their parents. As long as you or your partner don’t sleep on a couch with your baby or abuse alcohol or drugs, you don’t need to worry about your baby being at risk of cot death caused by co-sleeping.
However, it’s very important that the baby can sleep safely in the bed, without rolling out or getting trapped somewhere.
